I am a creative, an introvert and a Gemini. I am an entrepreneurial paradox, constantly conflicted in pursuit of my mission!

If you’re reading this you’re probably a lot like me. I am a passionate human with big dreams, craving community, connection and creativity.

I have wild aspirations to leave my creative mark on this world, I have literally made it my mission to impact and heal the world with creativity... one workshop at a time.

I am a creative but also an introvert and a Gemini. I am constantly conflicted in pursuit of my mission. I am an entrepreneurial paradox at times!

My creative brain can struggle with focus and strategy that is required for business success.

My introverted nature wants to work diligently, quietly, within the shadows.

My inner Gemini is constantly coming up with amazing new ideas that require me to be seen.

Running a creative business as an introvert might seem like one hurdle after another, but that’s only when we overthink things and put limits and labels on ourselves. It is totally possible to work within the parameters of your personality traits and still succeed - if you can learn to work with them instead of against them. Becoming successful is all about focusing on and developing your strengths, not focusing on eliminating your weaknesses.

So much of running a successful creative business is dependent on your mindset and personal development not your Instagram following, business plan and all the others things people assume a successful business is made of.

Continual self development and daily habits that will support your healthy mindset are key to business success as an introvert (and Gemini!). When I started to implement a daily morning routine where self development was the focus, things began to shift for me.

I started to change the way I approached my entire daily activities, I stopped completely those tasks that didn’t feel in alignment with me, I found solutions to keep me focused as well as honour my overactive, creative brain. I stopped resisting and fighting with myself about all the things I thought I should be doing but just didn’t feel comfortable doing. I surrendered to what felt good, to the activities and tasks that would still push my business forward, to a way of working that nurtured me too.

I know it might seem counter-intuitive, unproductive and self indulgent to dedicate that time just to yourself and not all the busy things you feel you need to be doing in your business but I urge you to please give it a try and see the results for yourself.

I believe that this is the secret to creative business success as an introvert - find what works for you.

It’s all about figuring out what works for you. Its OK to be an introvert, its OK to hate networking, its OK to not want to show up on Instagram Stories, its OK to be scared of public speaking/teaching workshops...but its not OK to make excuses. Instead, find what works for you, and then do it, every single day do something that is moving you closer to your goals, to your big mission. It’s still going to take hard work, but aligned work will be so much more productive than finding 639,892,000 ways to resist doing the things your introverted self just does not want to do.

Some things you can try to connect with yourself on a deeper level to uncover your blocks, conflicts and understand how you can start run your creative business YOUR WAY:

Daily journaling (on limiting beliefs, money mindset etc)
